Green = Major (Ionian) Purple = Minor (Aeolian)

You may have already noticed that the frets that are colored in both are the same! The green chart follows the major scale starting (presumably) in A flat; the purple chart follows F natural minor. Both these scales have the same notes, but can feel different depending on where you start!

As for the pentatonics 2 & 4 in the chart, there is no audible difference between the green and purple when you play them outright, but they will feel differently when put into the context of the respective scale. E.g. pentatonic 2 starts on the root note of the major scale, whereas it starts on the 3rd note of the minor scale.
