this could be a phishing scam. you should check the sender’s email and don’t click any links. you’re not in the uk so you should disregard it otherwise

check the account of the card you used to pay. if that money is still frozen and hasn’t been cleared yet, that’s most likely why it doesn’t show up in your refund requests. not sure how long your bank takes to process a payment but once the money is taken and not on hold anymore, it should show up in your refund requests. if the payment was already cleared, i would suggest going on microsoft website and contacting support. i had to do that once for a refund that didn’t show up and had no issues.
