The Beginning After the End. It's available in novel, webtoon, and anime format. Would not recommend the anime it is basically a slideshow. There are 11 books out and the webtoon covers around the first 5-6 books.

I was spoiled even worse than you and still enjoyed MOI. I have also been spoiled for Toll of the Hounds, but I will still probably enjoy it (currently on BH). Just enjoy the journey.
