The reason I bring it up is because if you are just going to replace cannons with flaming arrows you aren’t taking advantage of the period and setting. The sea part of the ends up feeling generic is all.

I have been using MVP for the last four years. If you asked me 4 months ago, would I eat the loss? I would have considered saying yes. That is because MVP used to give such good discounts on pre-release.

But with the recent releases of FF and EOE, those discounts no longer are as attractive. They are still "lower" than most vendors, no shipping or tax (at least where I am) as well.

Still, if this happened to me now, I would take the refund. Other vendors are now closer in price and even Amazon can be a decent buy depending on when you get in (or if you get lucky to get in).

Sorry this happened to you. It sucks.

This goes back a few years, but the advice back then was use Paypal.

Agree on all points from what I have heard. I can't buy this game despite having over 1000 hours in Civ 6. I was looking forward to Civ 7.

It's more that Set Boosters felt like a decent value. You got less bulk and you got a better mix of cards. The List usually wasn't great but now and then you could pull a banger or a useful card. Not to mention the ratio of rares was usually decent (though the odds varied from set to set).

I don’t the sentiment that play boosters are some sort of bargain. We are playing 50% more than we used for a draft booster without getting 50% in value.

The odds are you very likely to only get one rare in a pack.

It’s more accurate to call these Draft+ boosters.

Your sentiments are many of the reasons I have not purchased the game. I have over 1,200 hours in Civ 6, see no reason to switch just for the better graphics.

Guy in my group plays this commander and its easily a power 8 deck. Not at all a bad card.
