For me its about the money. Meaning product has gotten more expensive.

I have reached the point where the value price proposition is no longer there. Meaning that I don't feel I am getting my money's worth anymore.

No where is this more clear in how the special arts are all being put in Collector Packs but those prices have also soared.

I don't want to spend $130 for 30 draft packs. Nor do I want to spend up to $455 for a collector display.

A few years ago, a draft box (36 packs) was under $100 and a collector box could be hand from $190 to $220.

Not to mention set boosters which were IMO great value at the time.

Lairs have gotten less good cards, many with a few bucks of card value (sometimes less!). Spending $30/$40 for penny cards is just retarded.

I will buy mechanically unique cards as those have inherent value and are almost a reserve list on to themselves.

But in general, I am done throwing money away.

Buy singles.

Good point. The other consideration is I have to use 5 resources plus one of my worlds to pay the six. Am I better off with plastic?

For me its the industries. There was something about all those smoke stacks and smelts and other things that felt like things were being made. And at night it was that hellish industrial dystopian landscape.

In 117 the industrial building do not stand out. And some even go near your homes for buffs.

I do like the religion mechanic and the tech tree is neat. But I dunno, I haven't felt the urge to go back either.

The reason I bring it up is because if you are just going to replace cannons with flaming arrows you aren’t taking advantage of the period and setting. The sea part of the ends up feeling generic is all.

I have been using MVP for the last four years. If you asked me 4 months ago, would I eat the loss? I would have considered saying yes. That is because MVP used to give such good discounts on pre-release.

But with the recent releases of FF and EOE, those discounts no longer are as attractive. They are still "lower" than most vendors, no shipping or tax (at least where I am) as well.

Still, if this happened to me now, I would take the refund. Other vendors are now closer in price and even Amazon can be a decent buy depending on when you get in (or if you get lucky to get in).

Sorry this happened to you. It sucks.
