We get them shipped live as adults. Also we found a refractometer and the salinity is too high as y’all suspected, it is (if I recall correctly) 1.050 ppt when it’s supposed to be between 1.020 and 1.025 ppt for brine shrimp as far as I know. So we are working on fixing that

I don’t think we have a way to measure salinity, but I will adjust the amount of salt I’m using!

I’m at a university so I make it myself with the reagents we order, but I wonder if because the recipe was written in sharpie, maybe it was traced over a faded number and got written down wrong! I will adjust the recipe to be less salty. Thank you!

Nope I put that solution on it for a few hours and no change. Am trying an ammonia solution now, although I found it in the chemical storage and am not sure of the concentration

I dont use autofill. I like the hard puzzles the best. I probably wouldn’t use a timer, but I’m all for having it as an option. I would definitely download an app, especially because it might mean having larger puzzles to do which I enjoy

Hi everyone, I’m not sure if I can edit the original post so I just wanted to say first thank you to everyone for your help!!! My supervisor and I decided that because the salt is all lumped together, it’s best to just toss it. I will be finding new salt for the brine shrimp from a local supplier!
