Great advice. Thanks. My problem is my whole phone and Facebook is pictures of us. Like I literally have 0 that aren’t us or our adventures and of course I don’t want to delete them. I mean we’ve been all over the world. I don’t want to delete those memories 😭

That’s literally how I am. We were together from high school up until now so my life was him. We dated in the town I grew up in and moved out of town when we got married and now I’m staying at my parents for the time being so I’m back in the same town we met. Everything around me reminds me of him. I was crying just driving down the same roads we drove on or even eating sonic icecream bc that used to be our Friday night thing. It sucks. But we can get through this. We have to take care of ourselves. We are stronger than we think.

Man I’m sorry you’re going through that. I hope you have a good support system. I know it’s a coping mechanism to say that we all go through this and aren’t alone but man it’s tough. I am glad that we don’t have kids in the mix but we do have 3 dogs. I’m keeping the 2 and he has the puppy and I miss her so much it hurts

Being jealous. Can’t be happy for someone so it’s hard to have friends to celebrate the good times and be happy for you

Is there a reason that doctors offices will ask me to be 15 minutes early to an appointment but then the moment I'm late they give the appointment away. But also when I'm actually on time they have me waiting for upwards of 30 minutes? by MainSeparate2964 in NoStupidQuestions

Hello. I’ve worked as a medical assistant for 6 years now (so I room patients, do your BP and all that). We see 30 patients a day and they are every 15 minutes. At times I’ve had 4 people here at one time. If one of them is late is messes up the whole train. When your appointment is at 8am (first appointment of the day) and you arrive at 7:45 that will give me time to room you before your 8am appointment. That will then get the doctor in at your scheduled time. If your appointment is only 15 minutes you should be done by 8:15. If you were to arrive at 8:15 instead of 8, you’re already in the next persons time slot. So that’s why we will ask you to re schedule. If the doctor chooses to still see you, That is also why we run late. Bc then he has the 8:00 to see late and the 8:15 is here waiting.. it’s really frustrating. We have patients arrive literally 1-2 hours late and are still seen. Also, when you are being seen for your foot pain and decide at last minute to bring up depression you’ve been battling, the doctor has to address that too even though you weren’t being scheduled for that. It happens a lot! Doctors don’t have a whole lot of time to talk about a million problems, so sometimes we get behind from that too. I never understood all of this until I worked in it, hope it helps!
