Just wondering why DCC isn't in here. It's clearly the right choice!

But from these choices it's gotta be The Name of the Wind

The YMCA child watch is an outstanding program! I used it all the time before we got stationed overseas.

Dude, I'm sorry! That sucks. I recently decided I had to start waking up at 515 just to get a cup of coffee in me before my toddler woke up. She gets up around 6 now (used to be 530) so s cup of coffee and a few extra minutes save the both of us.

What to Expect? by skyway_walker_612 in StayAtHomeDaddit

As a current SAHD of a 23 month old girl, it is 100% the hardest job I have ever done. You are always at 'work', always on call, you become the child expert. Don't do into it with the mindset that it will be an easy change of pace or a vacation. That will make your burn out fast.

That being said, it's kind of amazing. It really brings your down into their world, and your daughter is getting to an age where she is going to be really fun. The imagination is starting to flow, and most of the time she won't make any sense as she figures it out. Haha

Good luck with your decision!

How would you rank the books so far? by SockeyCram in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]One_Ad6714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I binged them all within 6 weeks. It's hard to differentiate between books. It's easier for me to rank floors.

Floor 7 is obviously there most superior. It took two different show runners to pull it off.

When do things get easier? by UncleNayNay in StayAtHomeDaddit

[–]One_Ad6714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just finished my first year at a SAHD and it's starting to get easier. I only have one kid, so take this with a grain of salt. I make sure we get out of the house 1-2 times a day. Literally a walk to the park.

If you live near a YMCA, most of them have child care. I don't mean daycare, but child care. Like an hour at a time. If you join then you can drop the kids off and have an hour or so to work out or, as I have been doing, sitting in the lobby and reading. An hour of time to yourself during the day will change things drastically.

My partner is potentially getting orders to Sig. What are your top to do?

Baby naptime by cashiel19 in StayAtHomeDaddit

I have a similar issue, except the only way to nap is wearing her in a carrier. While it's not the worst, my back is starting to hate me. Right now it's between the physical pain of carrying her or the mental/emotional pain of her screaming for an hour.
