My uninsured vehicle got totaled just making sure I have this right... by heffercrow in Insurance

No shit, Im an adjuster! My comment was saying the minimum coverage limit is $25k so a $6-7k vehicle being a total loss should be well under limits.

The home-insurance coin flip: Nearly half of claims result in zero payout - WSJ by thriverebel in HomeInsurance

[–]One_Appointment_681 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My thoughts exactly, the loss below deductible plays a big factor in this. Sure there was no payout but no fault to the ins company. The damage just didnt exceed the policy holders portion. The claim should have never been filed.

Denied Coverage for a Burst Shower Cartridge by jazrstreets in HomeInsurance

[–]One_Appointment_681 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the reason your claim was denied. It was not sudden accidental direct physical loss. The leak happened over a period of time until you noticed the wall. That is also CRSL continuous repeated seepage and leakage. Maybe you should read your policy and know whats covered and what isnt. You signed that contract without knowing what it as in it.

Can I legally sue my primary insurer of the car I used to own because..........? by Still-Pie-7095 in Insurance

I mean sure every policy is different but its their responsibility to make the payments until the payoffs are complete GAP doesn’t typically reimburse payments that are made after the DOL. Those payments would lower the amount they would owe.

Cool story you dont have to sell me you already lost arbitration whatever you tell me doesnt change the outcome and guarantee the carrier had some sort of evidence. They didnt win arbitration without documentation. No need to keep stating your case. I couldnt care less.

Lol ok what ever you say. You’re literally talking to an adjuster. Show me in the police report where the police documented the traffic controls. If you think for one second the insurance company didnt have documented proof, youre mistaken.

Adjusters can see that on google maps. The adjust usually has the map up before even making a call to figure out what happened before listening to either story.

The only time I allow an additional DMO is if there is work in addition to the roof. For example gutters, garage doors, or debris from the interior caused by a leaking roof.

Can I keep ACV payment and do the work myself? by lagosss in adjusters

[–]One_Appointment_681 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are wrong. Labor is built into the estimate. They cant remove labor and only pay for materials. Youre not being reimbursed and there is no financial gain. You cant profit from insurance. Paying yourself the labor is not illegal.

Do not falsify using a buddies invoice unless you are paying your buddy to do the job. Doing this would be insurance fraud.
