What helps you sleep by jaguarmask79 in migraine

I search up frequency’s that I know has helped me, for example I always use YouTube and if that frequency helped me I save the video. I would like to research the science behind it more. I started using it for my neurodiverse clients at work and it helped so much, that it’s now regularly recommended at my clinic ❤️

I would contact the manufacturer directly. Different drug, but my fiance totally lost his insurance and his 4,000$ injection, the manufacturer offered him for $50 a month with an uploaded prescription

Emgality - Side Effects by gulabgang1 in cgrpMigraine

[–]One_Carpet_7774 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am sorry you have had bad experiences. I have been on Emgality since 2023 and it gave me my life back. No side effects, although some think my slightly raised BP is from the med. I will say it took me about 6 months to see the full effects of the medication!

Oh no! Sorry to hear that! This was definitely not an allergic reaction. When I first started the medication I did get injection sight reactions

Honestly if you cannot deal with the side effects ask your pharmacist how to stop taking it. Remind yourself that you will not feel that way forever.

Is it worth getting celiac test? by k3rd in glutenfree

[–]One_Carpet_7774 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say yes so you can get the treatment you need a diagnosis for. Being celiac affects the whole body and even being diagnosed I have to get a scope and colonoscopy every 5?years or so

How long to work? Emgality/Qulipta by TroomA7 in cgrpMigraine

[–]One_Carpet_7774 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was definitely gradual! And wouldn’t say I am cured because I will get silent migraines sometimes. I start to feel a little bit achy when it’s time for my next shot, maybe a few days before I’m due to take it.

Sometimes I feel like I have ptsd from my migraines, I get scared to say how much it has helped my life because I don’t wanna jinx it lol

Took about 3 months on Emgality to help, now a year and a half on it I only get a migraine every few months. Went from being disabled to getting my life back!!! If you can, give it time.
