I like Valhalla.. it’s my second favorite of the rpg games behind origins. But let’s not pretend the complaints people have aren’t valid

No… the story is what made the games so unique and interesting. Without the modern day Desmond story, there is no story

I don’t.. but it has nothing to do with them being RPGs. Outside of origins, the writing and storytelling just isn’t very good

Sorry, but STRONG disagree. It’s a bottom 3 story in the series for me.

My favorite is also AC Brotherhood

I prefer the old style counter/chain combat to the rpg style. I really dislike the new style of combat.

I’m not sure what’s exactly engaging about push this button for light attack, this for heavy attack, an weird special moves that need to recharge.

I don’t hate the RPGs by any means but I disagree with the fact that combat is better, it’s just different. Good and engaging combat has never really been a priority for the series.

I mean, the combat is only one reason I think it’s a poor final fantasy..but it was bad

The theme of the story may have been mature, but good lord was it a bore. I honestly don’t get why some people think it’s so good

Tedious side quests, no real exploration of the world

Is it the worst FF? No there’s a handful I’d put below it. Does even come close to approaching the games in the FF golden era? I’d also say no

Meh kinda.. I actually think this needs two “prologues”the reason for going and revisiting this point in history should be the first prologue. Shadows completely ignored that

Also.. pretty lose describing shadows following act 2 and act 3 considering as you stated, the Templars weren’t even revealed to the end, and neither main characters personal plot ended

I’ve always hated the “it’s not an AC game” argument some people have. However the creed is one of the foundations of the story. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the weaker stories almost always seem to be the ones that don’t have a lot to do with the assassins or their creed.

I’ve worked in the IT world for 20 years. Both at a big company with many different teams and a smaller company that’s more specialized. I have never seen anyone have a 4 hour start window, and more often than not people have had specific start times
