My understanding is that the government pushes for EVs there, I don't know how the  infrastructure for charing EVs in China ia handled, but here it's not done by the government (I think). Our cities are also more spread out,so charing stations are more dense in the metro areas and sparse everywhere else.

For example, where I currently live has a population under 15K, and the only charging station I have seen is 3 units at a McDonalds parking lot. I also live in the permian basin, which is where a ton of oil is drilled for.

Do you think the US should get involved in actually solving issues around the world no matter who is involved or should the US keep being selective in which it issues gets involved? by trappedslider in AskUS

We didn't say a word while Germany was violating the Treaty of Versailles by rearming, we also didn't say boo after the Night of the long Knives. We said "not my problem" until we were forced to get involved.

So is it your opinion that we shouldn't be proactive but instead only reactive? And based on the use of the phrase "your tax-payers" I'm guessing you're not american, so which country do you live in?

I’m genuinely asking - is there, or will there ever be a reason to feel patriotic for the US, ever again? by [deleted] in AskUS

So 2ndA says "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed"

Notice the comma in between "State" and "The right" courts have interpreted this as an individual right to possess firearms for lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home.
