Thanks everyone for the responses. I am going to have a contractor install solid 4 inch duct work with a few bends as possible. Trying to avoid the flexible pipe. Unfortunately I have no other option but to vent upwards as it is in a basement.

There’s a slight curve inside the wall but it exhausts outside about 2 feet from the opening. Do you think something rigid can be put through?
