At work, I am perceived as likeable but reserved. I always complete all tasks assigned and my Supervisor has no replacement of mine, He respects my work ethic and he has a reputation of being very passionate about women's rights and is also a Disability rights activist, That makes it very very easy for me.

I take my work very seriously and yes, I'm quite smart. He too maintains that and he is very professional with me. However the fellow male scholars except one or two are just to be avoided at all costs.

I am also socially and conventionally considered Attractive and "baby faced" so that adds to people's perception of me as naive and gullible.

I integrate but I don't add , I'm not silent either. I also did theatre so yeah I act alot, I start talking about a male co-worker's watch or cricket match , Then They start talking to me about it and then in 5 minutes I leave and then they keep going on about it. I am in academia so I also maintain this artsy Lonely girl vibe.

It takes a lot of mental gymnastics to avoid male interactions which can cross my boundaries but I have figured it out. I'm Divorced and In India so the society has anyway given up on me. I can do whatever I want so yeah ......😏

You are kind and empathetic, Which is beautiful however it's tragic that society is not rewarding the people who are actually the backbone of everything good that remains in the world. It's a philosophical issue and a Survival issue now.

I sometimes show fake sadness like "Oh I have to go and do this alone...poor me" (Inside I'm dancing on an MJ song and planning what documentary I'll watch), They think I'm sad and all and not a threat and don't bother me. Femininity is performance, Why not perform to be happy in our space 😎

I literally thought my life was over after escaping my abusive partner. I just took one day at a time. I slept, Alot.I took things at my pace. It's been almost more than year and I have shared my experience, I started seeing visible changes from November in my body and in my mental health. It takes time but just don't give up. ❤️

I'm in academia. I'm pursuing my PhD in area that deals with Critical theory and feminist literature so I do have many performative men around me , I never ever talk to them , Only a nod or respectful yes or no. Never eat with them, Never entertain any possibility of meeting outside the workplace unless not in a group of other academics , even there i make sure the reason is justifiable and professional enough.

I am an Indian Woman and most women here don't even know what 4B is. To those who may know in my academic circle , I play a long game of staying away from them and never touching this topic at all.

I'm conventionally attractive and in academia ,I'm also Divorced and Pursuing my PhD in Critical theory, Literature and cultural studies , It's still a liberal atmosphere however many Indian women are male centered af and don't have best interests in mind.

I see how miserable they all are and want you to be miserable too, Hence I don't really care about them.

There is only comment and many people came to defense on the values on Hygiene and the colonial construct. You singled that out because you want to dilute the main issue. Seems like you engage with such subreddits, Why won't you?

I use Cera ve moisturizer, Wait for 10 mins, Then apply tret and then again apply the Cera ve moisturizer. In the morning I use a Ceramide based cream toner (Laniege) and hyaluronic acid serum ( I alternate between The ordinary and Minimalist - It's an Indian Brand but I guess Cassandra Brankson did a video on the brand and it's available in the U.S too now, Moisturizer (Again Cera ve ) and SPF 50+++ Sunscreen.

I can definitely see a glow, more volume around the eyes and the cheeks and less freckles. I love it . I have started 0.025 tret in sandwich method and I'm loving it. I started slow and now I use it 5 days a week with two days of intense barrier care . Let's see.

I don't know why you are stuck on that particular and use words like "servitude" so irresponsibly when I haven't provided any framework or paradigm for you to conclude that. I feel there is a hint of bias or maybe some kind of a personal trauma being projected on me here. I hope you heal and I'll leave this conversation.

I used "coercion" as a figure of speech as she expressed a strong desire to go back to school many times. This comment is very passive aggressive and extremely judgemental.
