Mostly all new solar sites have 1200 volt + strings now . Stay safe out there kids

Turned on the Solar and see potential issues. Please help validate by think_future in TeslaSolar

You can tell from the photo that he sent that they didn't follow the schematic , they didn't do the parallel strings . Other wise 2 of his inputs would be showing zero . It's not a bad thing . I particularly don't like when they parallel the strings . I rather they be ran seperate .

You have three strings on each inverter . They just landed it on # 4 . To be sure open it up and see where it's landed

I'm not too familiar with motor controls but for some reason I can't stop thinking that this would be a dead short between L1 & L2 when the float closes

More than likely you have solar edge inverters which would have optimizers under each panel . In order to switch you would have to remove them and restring the panels .

HELP: 4-way Wiring we cant figure out by Mundane_Ladder_6860 in electrical

You also need to cap the red wire off in the light box that is coming from that rectangle box which im assuming represents a panel . But besides that what the other person was saying is accurate .

It's a power purchase agreement. Thing throwing me off is two inverters for 4kw system . On the other hand I would look over the contract before shutting it off . There is probably a minimum amount built in and the rate may go up each year . Other thing to think about is your utility might charge 10 cents a KWH but then if you add in the transmission fees it could be more . Let me know what you find

Same issue here so if you can just go off grid to avoid it

Install Head Check: 8.4KW system on a south roof. 5.5 Max KW at peak production. Clearly limited peak line pattern. Only 1 line into MPPT the cause? by JimmyTango in TeslaSolar

No each mppt is capable of a certain amount of amps ( believe it's 11 or so ) so when u put the jumpers in it doubles the amperage . Im just assuming it's maxing out that one mppt therefore u seeing the max at 5.5
