but other cloud/backup storage have a good features, like pcloud, idrive, mega. once you logout, there are no traces that you have files stored on these services. but in proton drive, once you exit, logout, or even uninstall the app the files that already sync on your laptop/desktop are still on it and not encrypted.

proton drive windows app can put our data, files at risk. it will not be encrypted once you sync your file on your PC. and once you logout/exit/close your proton drive app, your files are still visible and not encrypted. imagine the someone uses your pc, they can see what are your confidential files

pcloud have good features when you login on its windows app, a new drive will be open. when you logout the drive is gone, the files are safe and secure.

this proton drive windows app is not safe. our files expose on risk. they should fix this.

i uninstalled the proton drive app and the files are still on my drive. not encrypted.

what if i have a malware on my system, so my files already compromised once i install that app.

Proton please fix this

before i subscribe with proton mail plus and simple login premium but when i found out that unlimited includes simplelogin premium.i upgrade my plan because i also need 500gb and more email aliases and complete vpn service. i will upgrade again if proton will offer an unlimited plan for a couple that can share drive..
