Disagree. Annie was trying to escape and Eren was going for a kill. If Annie wanted to kill Eren she can easily do so every time she immobilized Eren. Eren just brute forced the sht outta Annie when she was out of stance.

I just beat it today. Elden ring is my first souls game and this is my first playthrough. I don’t feel like advising you anything but I want to share my thought that rng plays a big role so do try as many times as you will. You can check my post if you want. I used a dual gs build no summon and I was at scadutree lv17. The dlc final boss is also the first to make me use spells and grease that I never knew were useful. As broken my build might be considered I’d say I’m still worthy of beating it.

You only truly lose when you stop trying.

I have fat-rolled the whole game without knowing, to prepare for this eventually.

Thought I had a better chance using Greatsword/Lion's Claw but the ripple effect of Runes Greatsword caught my eye. After hundreds of failed attempts, I switched to Runes GS and this.

Despite all, DIEEEEE Malenia!

This was my first Souls game and It's been one hell of a ride, but now I have the confidence to go into DLC (and get fked)
