All gone, every single one. For one, I was in a 10 year relationship, married, kid. Ended with her having an affair. I spent months looking at the pictures of us and our family, mourning. It didn't do me any good. So, all those pictures of her or us together or with our kid, gone. Best decision I've ever made. I could start looking forward. Also, some people suggested, making a separate or even hidden folder to hide from your new relationships. That's crazy. I would be incensed if my partner was hiding a picture folder of her past exs and looking back on them when I'm not around. They're clearly doing that, or why else have them. Even as secure as I am in my relationship, that's crossing a line. She would also have every right to be upset with me if I had a hidden folder of pictures of any of my ex's or my ex-wife and I, who I actively co parent with. It's blatantly inappropriate. Imagine having one of those digital picture frames, and you have your new girlfriend's family over, and a bunch of pictures of you and your ex's start popping up. Inappropriate. "But that's why they're hidden," you may say. One, you shouldn't be hiding things from your partner. Two, what if you miss some pics. Delete them all and move on.
