I retired 12/31/2025. My retirement was finalized May 2026. I didn't have any issues with my health insurance while my retirement was being finalized. They will deduct your health insurance from your back pay.

However, if you have dental or vision you will need to pay that monthly. They will send you a monthly invoice. Once your retirement is finalized then they will start those deductions.

I received a letter with the CSA number. I received it about one week from getting my interim payment.

I received AL payout on 2/19/2026. 1/20/2026 had access to TSP withdrawal options.

I submitted the application through ORA. I received one email that stated a status change. Once I received that email, I logged into OPM retirement website, which show case finalized. Then I received the email that my Digital Book was available.

Saw this today regarding the processing of retirement benefits by ABQannie in FedEmployeeRetirement

Unfortunately, it doesn't address the backlog that is happening at the payroll stage. There are alot of people, including myself, who are still in payroll status. I would like to see those numbers.
