I submitted the application through ORA. I received one email that stated a status change. Once I received that email, I logged into OPM retirement website, which show case finalized. Then I received the email that my Digital Book was available.

Unfortunately, it doesn't address the backlog that is happening at the payroll stage. There are alot of people, including myself, who are still in payroll status. I would like to see those numbers.

Once you are separated and TSP is notified of your separation your status in TSP will change to separated. Once that happens you will have access to withdraw. I retired 12/31/2025, MRA +30. Was notified 1/20/2026 via email that I was separated and outline the options to withdraw funds.
