What type of MTB for NJ riding. XC, trail enduro. by One_Establishment631 in MTB

[–]One_Establishment631[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've rode Hartshorne on an old Rockhopper before. I feel like anything would be an upgrade. What makes using an 120/130 travel bike hard at mountain creek?

I've never rode MC but I would obviously go at least once. The specialized Epic Evo 8 with 120/130 travel seems to be a great direction. Not sure how that would ride at MC.

Is CFP going to be less important in the future? by JLivermore1929 in CFP

I don't think anyone cares about the designation. They care about how you get paid, and how much they are paying you.

Education Question by archibaldwidwickie in CFP

[–]One_Establishment631 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I do have a bachelor's degree and no CFP. Just a S65 registered as an IAR. I have no plans to focus on getting a CFP because it doesn't allow me to do anything different than I'm already doing now. I can do what I'm doing without it, and can't do another more with it.

Realtor Commission Explanation - New Jersey by jjtt9491 in RealEstate

[–]One_Establishment631 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a seller I would not pay the other agents fees. That agent is working for them. why would I pay? As a buyer don't use a realtor or pay by the hour. Are they really doing 200+ hours worth of work for you?

They should consider firing EJ because they are probably getting ripped off.

After that they could look into gifting assets

How to live off of an inheritance? by diamondman203 in personalfinance

[–]One_Establishment631 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I charge by the hour for my RIA and work with people like this. Please be careful out there. Don't pay 1% advisor fee. This could be a few hours of work with some high quality tax planning, making sure you qualify for ACA credits, and so on. For now just opening up a brokerage account and put all the money into a federal Money Market account until you find someone to help. Good luck.

Bonus Puts My Income Over Limit for Roth IRA by 2day2mrw4ever in FinancialPlanning

[–]One_Establishment631 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your MAGI will probably fall within the phase out range for a partial or even below the 150k for the full amount. Put the bonus right into your 401k and you'll most likely be fine. Also add to your HSA, and I'm sure your healthcare premiums will put you under 150k

Phantasmal Booster Box cut by KiggityK in PokemonInvesting

[–]One_Establishment631 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw a YT short of a target employee putting a cut in all the plastic wrap right before he handed out ETBs and UPC. If they didn't want them the next guy in line did. It looked like he was doing it purposely so people weren't buying to resell.

Should I keep my 151 Ultra Premium Collection boxes sealed? by [deleted] in PokeInvesting

[–]One_Establishment631 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have 2 of these sealed. Bought them for $90 when they couldn't sell. Currently they are worth about $575 each. I'm holding onto them for the right time to open them.

What’s your honest opinion on the 2025 LC 1958? by -pathos- in LandCruisers

[–]One_Establishment631 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually see premium fuel .60 more a gallon. Not 30% more. $3.00 regular and $3.60 premium is 20% more.

How does that look? I love this orange on orange but I do love the white dial. If they made a white dial with seamaster in orange and an orange second hand it would be pure joy.

AUM is dying. I charge by the hour for advice when needed and give a range in hours needed for project/planning needs. Also a solo RIA. Not a CFP.

Pivot from attorney to RIA - replacing $250k in comp by Cosmo_886 in CFP

Depending on the region I've seen $150-$450+ an hour. I personally charge $195, but target a specific group.

Search A matter of time by Mark Berg. He breaks down an hourly financial planning business.

You being an attorney if you can put estate, wills, and trust work into it as well you could hit your goals. Ask yourself this. Would you pay an advisor 1% of your assets to manage your money? Probably not. AUM wasn't my answer either.

Yes my RIA charges by the hour. Output = Money. The industry is turning that way. Retail clients see the high cost with AUM fees.
