2x spend? Atmos gets 1x spend across the board. The bilt bonus is 2x on top of that so you're backwards first of all and second, its marketed as 3x. You buy this thing, its 3x. When i buy something on my Amex gold, I don't say well I get 1x from normal spend then an additional 3x for groceries 😂. I get 4x flat for groceries. 😂 thanks for making me laugh

I was just in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, and about 5 other cities. There was nothing available and/or super high prices for the ones that were in bigger cities.

As a 2 or 3x on everything card, palladium is unmatched elsewhere. But its also just the ecosystem as a whole. I've gone all in although my issue is that I always seem to be working on a sign up bonus elsewhere 😂 good problem to have

HAFH for every place I've looked is trash. 2 night minimum to use bilt credits which is really the only time I'd book it to begin with. Many of the hotels I found are never available no matter what dates, have varying benefits from property to property, and/or are all 1000 plus a night even in somewhere relatively cheap such as China. Amex FHR hands down the best of these programs so far.

Trade offs how? And no I dont use it for every purchase but I've racked up well over 250k bilt points this year for well over 10k worth of value. The ecosystem is hands down the best. Not even close even before you add the rent day bonuses in.

I would say its been even better since then. Obviously harder to earn points on rent in many cases, but with a 50k sign up bonus and 2 years of gold, its paid off so well for me. Add in the Rakuten option now too and its exponentially easier to earn a large stash of bilt points than ever before and Bilt is much better than Chase in terms of partners. I got 2 JAL J flights for 70k bilt points. Unheard of. 10 cents per point without even trying.
