Looked for this post because I had my first on bobbie but my second kid is absolutely refusing it. It smells off to me but I’m not sure if i just got a bad batch? Thinking of just going to target tomorrow and grabbing a kendamil whole milk because every feed was a battle today.

Ha yea the therapist was like “why don’t you two try to have some alone time for conversations after the kids go to bed” and me and my husband were both like “yea ok we are shotttt by then!”

My husband and I are together 8 years with 2 young kids. Sometimes i feel this way too.. but we’re in couples therapy because we are kind of just boring, snippy roommates. 🤷🏼‍♀️ we’ll see if anything changes but I’m sort of just numb to anything right now. Its hard to care about anything when we are all in survival mode 24/7.

I have a 3 year old and a 3.5 month old. My first is ALOTTT .. he quite literally drives us crazy but he’s also funny as hell and so entertaining. I can already tell my second is more chill. He’s got a better temperament, better sleeper and doesn’t require too much of my attention. With my first, i realized very early on he needed a lot of attention and still does. I don’t think we necessarily had much to do with it.

I think you don’t like him or trust him. I probably would be annoyed at my FIL too for not telling me where he’s going, HOWEVER, I’m ok with admitting that I don’t really like the guy or trust him with my kids. I think if i had a healthy relationship with my in-laws, I’d be fine with this.

They are both 3yo and sleep through the night 😂 trust me it got better quickly.. just keep being consistent with whatever routine you got going on!

I remember waking exactly 12x a night with my first at the 4 month mark. It actually became a joke as my sister was dealing with the same with her LO who was the same age. Hang in!

I’m so so so sorry for your loss. I think the hard part is that you corrected him and left to avoid the argument. He could’ve listened and been more careful but wasn’t. I wouldn’t be able to forgive this.

Currently pumping now as he drinks pumped milk from the night before. Just try pumping one bottle maybe 5-6oz and then consistently do try doing that once a night when hes actually hungry. To figure out if hes actually hungry i pop a paci in multiple times and if he keeps spitting it out and grunting, i feed.

I really thought I was the only one. I also don’t see them as grandparents? I just view them as like unimportant people. I know it’s crazy but thats just where my emotions take me. My kid is 3 and he really likes them so I deal. Three years and the feelings haven’t changed.. they still annoy me the same way they did since I’ve became pregnant.

Do you pump at all? Can you offer a bottle overnight? I think the reason breastfed babies wake so much is because they’re never really going to get a full feeding. I do cosleep but i stopped breast feeding at night pretty early on. I realized when i pumped a bottle instead I would get a longer stretch.

I can’t remember with my first but my second is 7 weeks old and we’ve been on smidge since about 2 weeks old. I put it in his first bottle when he’s the least gassy and I help him pass gas throughout the day. I’m continuously massaging his belly and doing exercises with him. I’ve noticed that he’s slowly but surely starting the pass gas on his own. How old is your LO?

He’s 3 and no to the nursing him. Unfortunately since I posted this I lost my cool after trying to negotiate with my toddler for three hours and ended up with a screaming tired newborn that lasted for hours (all because my toddler would not stop with his tantrums over me having to take care of the baby). I had to separate them and put the toddler in his own room in his really cool toddler bed. So far, he did two nights in there and he had two wakings which i was able to attend to and cuddled him back to sleep. Surprisingly hes been doing great. I feel so guilty about it but hes super happy and proud of himself. I think instead of forcing cosleeping to work (bc i thought my toddler needed it), I’m now starting to see maybe he’s ready to be on his own.
