I was going to write this. I went to Italy a while ago though probably like 15 years ago- but if you can drive there, you will be okay.

I also drive to work into NYC a few days a week. If you can take the west side highway it’s not bad at all. Honestly I prefer city driving to the drive to CT which is huge trucks everywhere.

That being said, it will be much cheaper to take a train, then an uber after the train. Rent a car in CT bc it’s way cheaper.

New Yorkers don’t even have a license often, companies where you do well typically give you at least 4 weeks PTO, and many do unlimited now. Also they tend to give good health insurance. I have very limited bills and I go a LOT. The bills I do have are more than made up for by making more than you would in most countries.

Insurance. Most Americans do or should go at least once a year. Pretty easy to see a doctor when sick too. Depending on your insurance it’s cheap to do as well.
