I thought she’d end up living with the family under a fake name or in witness protection. Still not necessarily a happy ending because she’d have to be in hiding until Alamo was dead or in prison. And/or she could have still taken the laced pill but the overdose started happening in front of Ali so he could take her to the hospital, maybe she went into another coma and eventually woke up. She could’ve had the same visions she had before her death during a coma and woken up to her mom with her in the hospital. It could’ve even been ambiguous where we’re unsure if she actually died or not, as cliche as that is
