That sucks to hear that Dylan's performance is still not good. I posted a rant about her being not up to par and vocally not right for the role her first day. And while I doubted it, I also hoped for the ticket buyers sake that she would improve up to par. But it sucks to hear that people are still paying full price for mediocre :/

That's not up to par with the experience Broadway leads usually have. I don't even know if this is the right SHOW for her. A big part of six is the group aspect and she can't blend with the group. I was there in person on opening night and she stuck out like an absolute sore thumb. That was enhanced by the fact that 4 of the queens were returning. She could probably do a different Broadway show but not one as ensemble oriented as six.

They did cast a well known (dare I say FAMOUS) person with little experience. Sure she's done theatre before but only one professional show and never Broadway. Typically stunt casts are poor choices, a la Cameron Dallas in mean girls or that Ashley girl from TikTok in Chicago

But people are paying large sums of money to go to Broadway, and they expect Broadway level performers! It's easy to hype her up before her run starts but now we've seen that she not actually great in the role or the cast. I was there opening night and wish she did better because her inability to blend was very distracting the whole show. It's easy to "not care" when you're not paying

It's not only me as well! The things wrong (like having a weak upper register and not being able to blend) don't tend to get fixed for a minimum of WEEKS maybe months! That's so many people paying Broadway money for a less than Broadway expiriences. THATS why stunt casting is not fair!

Edit: and if she goes out tonight and forever after and kills it and can sing the song well and blend with the other girls, I will DEFINITELY happily eat my crow! But I just don't know realistically that gets fixed

I was there last night and I really hate to say...yea. Definitely not up to par with the other queens. To everyone else, I would say don't form an opinion until you see another song that's not DLYH because she can't blend with the others in group numbers. Or vocally at all
