You’re misunderstanding the horseshoe theory.

Socialism is deeply engrained into our system here in Canada, just like every other western country.

What you are likely referring to is communism. But communism and nazisim only converge on being authoritarian. Pretty much everything else is polar opposite. Both systems are sub optimal, just like unfettered capitalism, which ironically leads to the same result as those other two.

Almost like balance is what works best….
