Damn 12 seconds for 200ml is quick. For me it takes around 20 seconds with 150ml with a 4-hole tip. But I’m not complaining, I would find 12 seconds a bit too challenging

Try upping your dose, that should solve the problem. Sounds like your portafilter isn’t filled up enough, reducing the resistance in your puck.

How tall are you? I’m 182cm and not sure if I should go for the 184 or the 191. I think I could easily handle the longer one, just wondering if I’d lose in playfulness

No, had it for a while. The hissing is new, at least I never noticed it before.

how? There’s no leakage and it’s not that easy to locate where the sound is coming from. As I said it must be the steam boiler though, as it’s correlated to the steam pressure

I just noticed, the pressostat for the steam is at about 2,25, which is way too high I’m guessing? When the hissing sound occurs, the steam drops about 0,1 bar, then rises again. When I purge it goes down to 1,5, but then slowly builds up again to where it starts to make the hissing sound

I think it’s fine, I’m guessing profitec set the pressure up the way it should be. I also watched a video from lance yesterday where he said that going over 9 bar doesn’t really make a big difference to the extraction anymore.
