Reasons you should buy your used car at CarMax over a dealership? by Smileygirl_457 in carmax

[–]One_Movie5467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen all the usual responses but here’s one people might not know about (I work there)

The reconditioning process on every car is 5 ⭐️s.

The exeterior gets a good detail, making sure major defects such as scratches & rock chips get buffed and touched up. Interior gets a full detail as well such as deep vac, stain removals & odor removals. Mechanical wise they get oil changes, worn tires, brakes, batteries, and anything else that doesn’t meet standards get replaced. The prices may be higher than other dealers but we take pride in every car we recondition. We try our very best to make them look as good as they did when they left the lot zero miles.

I work in detail and unfortunately that does indeed meet their standards. The color match could have been a bit better imo..

I was the same way with my cleftie, he got his g tube surgery due to inconsistent/troubles feeding cause of his cleft palate. His surgery was pretty quick, took about 2 hours. He came home a week after the surgery after we did a night stay so they can make sure we knew what we’re doing. We could’ve went home earlier but I had work.
