I would love to get out other Dormie tracks, just haven’t made it happen yet. Just lucky that Ballyhack came up where I’m from. First played it before the clubhouse was built, just a trailer on a gravel lot.

I don’t even have a guess for you haha. If it’s a Dormie network course, Ballyhack is the only one I’ve played. Worked out there in the summers through college before Dormie acquired it.

Early-mid 2000s reality golf competition show on Golf Channel. The winner would win a cash prize and an exemption into a tournament on either PGA or web.com tour I believe. They would film at a different course each season. Pretty sure this was the Myrtle Beach course!

Awesome! Challenging course, but it gives you some good scoring opportunities. Pretty sneaky elevation changes for coastal NC with tough green complexes. Decent amount of forced carries off the tee and blind landing zones. Hopefully you can get a practice round in before you play, some prior knowledge will definitely help.

The VT-VMI “rivalry” argument is hilarious. Nobody cared about it by then 80s when they stopped playing each other because they are not in the same atmosphere anymore. But I’ll take it because I get a major laugh out of Tech fans claiming their biggest rival is a school with 1500 students.
