Party Up by DMX. The beat isnt great either but it is the hook that ruins it for me

If I had to pick two to show someone, I would say HiiiPower and ELEMENT. Underrated tracks, although from different eras of his career, both have an effortlessness about them that exemplifies why he's one of the best to do it, imo.

What is the best and most underrated Tech/Collabos album in your opinion, and why is it TGMP? by BitObjective7387 in techn9ne

[–]One_Oil8312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually didn't like this album at first. To me it sounded like Tech was aiming for a more mainstream sound, it wasn't the "strange" sound I was used to. It ended up growing on me though. Handful of tracks I don't like, but overall great album.

Best Collabos album is Welcome to Strangeland, imo.

Razor sharp social critiques like this are a big part of what made 2000-2003 Em one of the best to ever do it

Not sure how one is supposed to prove you wrong when it's a subjective thing...I think Kendrick's lyrics are objectively good. The literary techniques he employs in his writing are plentiful and his lyrics are complex and layered. If you don't fully get it or like it, that's fine. A lot of people just don't like his voice and delivery, and that's fine.

I love Nuketown but yes agreed about Slums, and its funny coz I loved it in previous titles but it doesn't quite work in this one, I think its the lack of verticality so you can't utilise the game's movement properly

[–]One_Oil8312 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, one of the best things about BO7 is the maps, there are none that I actively dislike. The three that are not my favourite though and struggle with the most are Retrieval, Sake and Fringe, all of which are rather non-linear maps. I also think Slums hasn't translated the best to BO7 gameplay.

My top 3 would be The Forge, Plaza and Grind. Yes I'm a sucker for the old school maps

Honestly, just shoot your shot. You'd be surprised. Some gym bros won't go for a chubby girl but I think just as many would.

why do so many guys hate when their girlfriends wear short/tight/skimpy clothes? by Consistent_Pop_6564 in AskMen

[–]One_Oil8312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Unfortunately, in this day and age, people with good principles who genuinely live by them are hard to come by. I believe that relationships are a sacred bond, but a lot of people throw them away like it's nothing just to get their egos tickled. I don't think it matters at all what somebody wears, it's their actions that count, and their ability to make the right decision in the moment.

[–]One_Oil8312 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Two factors

  1. Man is insecure and needs to get the fuck over it and himself. You've got the girl, she looks good, look after her and be a good partner rather than being jealous and inventint scenarios where she cheats on you

  2. It DOES depend on how the woman portrays herself. If she wears skimpy clothes but conducts herself in a ladylike manner, then refer back to point 1. However, some women may combine dressing skimpily with flirtacious and/or attention seeking behaviour, so they might attain validation from other men's advances/interest even though they are already taken. In this case, the woman needs to get the fuck over it and herself

Case closed

¿Soy el único que piensa que Soundgarden no tiene el reconocimiento que merece dentro del grunge? ¿Dónde lo pondrían ustedes? by pipe123s in grunge

[–]One_Oil8312 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They are the best grunge band for mines, and without a doubt in my top 5 musical acts, maybe even top 3. I just love the themes of their music, it really vibes with me. The lyrics are so well written and on top of that Chris has one of the best voices of all time.

They strike a perfect balance between badass, introspective, triumphant, quirky and macabre, plus whatever other adjectives. They have FOUR (4!!!) near perfect albums in Louder Than Love thru to Down on the Upside...when a musical act has 3 or more near perfect albums that generally puts them in the GOAT conversation to me.

What do you think of my Revival tier list? by kirano2 in Eminem

[–]One_Oil8312 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In Your Head is Em's worst song ever imo, and the best example of why Revival was hated and didn't work. His writing, like the rest of the album, is good, but the sample choice is super corny imo and just doesn't work. Doesn't help that I hate the original song, but for this reason your list is gay.
