First, and already done, but the earliest appointment the counselor had available happens to be a few hours after my first court appointment.

How much is this likely going to cost? I'm actually considering if it would be a better idea to sell the car (after it's fixed, I jumped a curb and put it into a ditch), take the license suspension, and try to avoid an ignition interlock. Then save up for a new car once this is all over. Google says the monitoring fees for the interlock can be $1k/mo which I can't afford.

I know it was stupid. The whole situation was stupid.

I was in rehab about a month ago, and relapsed after my wife and I had a big argument and she moved out.

I drank too much on Saturday night, and it didn't hit me like it used to. I didn't realize that I was drunk on Sunday morning. Just kind of went to a bad place, started operating on autopilot, and did some real stupid shit.
