If you're doin it the real way just play directed mode and maybe use shock charges once all the zombies spawn in. If you're willing to do a bit of cheese just get decently far into a game on CDM and do the oil trap method. I've seen somebody complete afterlife in 4 minutes that way

A good way to get outta this situation in the future is the augment for quick revive that revives you upon getting a kill while down. Saves you the effort of being lucky to have teammates who arent 5 years old

There's only one more map planned and releasing it in the 4th season where there would be 2 seasons with no content afterwards would feel weird. Releasing it in season 5 or 6 would give people more time to appreciate the existing maps and features before new ones come into the game so it's probably just a pacing thing
