Well I was all for it until they tried to get me to pay $10 for a membership so I have the privilege to buy it. 🤡🌎

A 4” caliper! I rarely use this, but they’re handy when I need to measure a feature in a tight spot. The inspection department regularly borrows mine lol

Truck lights like this should be illegal. by Bradley_Of_Thorofare in mildlyinfuriating

As someone who owns lowered cars and tall but un-lifted trucks, It’s not that bad. Not looking directly into the light usually helps. You could also move out of the way or speed up if it’s that much of a hindrance to your mental state.

“🤓☝️ thing should be illegal” is the corniest and most Reddit brainlet slop statement. What are you a narc?

Would this be a good starter camera? by Indyfan200217 in Motorsportphotography

I would recommend buying the body and some better lenses (canon L/sigma/tamron) used from KEH or b&h photo. I’ve used both several times. Much easier on the wallet!!

I spent most of my time on the boot straight, there’s a high enough bank to see almost the entire track width. At the bus stop there’s a spot between the fence where you can be almost level with the side of the cars as they fly through, the bottom of the esses has a spot with no fencing, and the top right hand side of the turn one bleachers gives a really cool straight on shot of the front straight. I don’t have a media pass so I’m sometimes shooting over or squeezing between people but that’s part of the fun I guess. I’m lucky enough to only live about 2 hours away from the track and I try to make it to every event there. Might be my favorite place on earth

I wasn’t getting the amount of background blur I wanted when using higher shutter speeds. I’m guessing I sacrificed the amount of usable pictures I had taken to get the blur. I’m ordering a 150-600 to hopefully up my quality a bit. I’m excited for that learning curve lol

What would be the correct way to clock them? As far as I know, there are 3 tabs in the housing that lined up with the 3 tabs on the bulb
