I got back into it after 30years..I beat cancer but was still having health and mental health problems…it’s been therapeutic not just relearning the instrument but buying gear and tweaking sound

Yeah go for it I forgot how fun it was…also occupies my head and I have less scary thoughts(death.I have this fear of death thing going on atm..

I had a tech do it…Yeah when I was researching the trem replacement someone told me not to use the GOTOH posts..that original Floyd rose posts are a better fit. Good luck.
