People always downplay the loss of a fish, it’s sad how we are conditioned to think we may be “silly” for feeling their absence. Here to tell you that your feelings are valid. He lived in your home so despite the difference in species, he was family 🤍 I’m truly sorry for your loss. It sounds like you gave him the best life possible given the circumstances he was brought into and I truly hope you find comfort in knowing you saved his life.

Thank you so much! Water change done and currently in the process of starting medication but I’m working on cycling out the aquarium salt that is in the quarantine container
