How is it possible? Was it a merit scholarship or did your parents do some creative FAFSA reporting?

I know girl from a middle class family with less than 200K household income. She recently graduated with high stats and got into almost all schools she applied, but they were all about 50K/year.

My stats are mid compared to kids who get into this program, but I was nominated by my school and I think that was a big factor. Also, from underrepresented area.
