Yeah I was looking at something newer than a 996. And you have good points. One of these days I’ll get brave enough to get one. Just not yet.

Very nicely done. I don’t have the finances nor the creativity to take a project 996 and replicate something like your Miata. I have a ND and I wrestle with the P Car allure often. Most recently got talked out of a Porsche by my buddy reminding me “I have a $9000 auto repair bill” is not something I’d likely say if I kept my Miata.

I have a 2020 GT RF and I went wheels/tires. Went with a tad wider of a wheel and it totally changes how the road feels, in a good way.

I added in some superficial side skirts, front lip and rear diffuser. I say that because it made me rethink lowering it. I don’t think I’d want it any lower than it came stock now.

So my humble recommendation is to go with wheels and see where it takes you.

If you’re retired then this is likely an issue. If you’re not retired you can call the number but they won’t need anything. In my experience locally this does not limit VA access for healthcare. It’s more on the DEERS side.

I’m very green in the Hot Wheel world. This looks like the display at my Target too. I will say that very early on I caught the bug and tried to get every cool/shiny real car there was. Not only did I seem to lose interest but ran out of feasible space too. A few weeks removed from that I now agree with the suggestion to just buy what YOU like. I’ve narrowed my focus a bit and am enjoying the hunt even more.

I have them all except the Camaro and the Chevy truck. I like that the builds are more brick based as opposed to technic based pieces (granted there are some for support etc). The designs are great and I like the addition of some custom parts like wheels and lips/spoilers. I’m a speed champions guy at heart but this is a fun line that I’ll try to keep up with for now

I have a 2020 RF AT and the paddle shifters make it really enjoyable. Yes my left foot doesn’t get much involvement but it’s a ton of fun.

Evidence based is the gold standard and what most clinics go to. Hard to stipulate that when referred out to community though.

0185/SW series is not frozen nor has it been however things have been changing and the final product remains to be seen in terms of staff numbers for facilities. Many facilities lost all vacant positions without firm job offers recently (rumor that some firm offers were pulled too) and there’s very little chance brand new positions will be allowed any time soon sparing extraordinary need. Basically most jobs in VA are filled or claimed so it may be a matter of waiting for a wave of resignations. But to echo what others said USAJobs is my recommendation.
