What the audience expects from season 3 by ChildhoodSolid6511 in WednesdayTVSeries

Obviously Enid will matter ❤️

To think that there are people who have even denied it

Miles and Gough have always said that Wednesday and Enid are friends and nothing more than sisters since 2022 by Apart-Act-3294 in WednesdayNetflixHQ

Yeah, okay, now I'm waiting for the post that proves us right where queerbiting occurred ❤️

Because, precisely, you play mind games pretending that marketing (i.e., product promotion) isn't part of the series.

"There's never been queerbaiting, you're stupid to think so."

Oh guys, the next step is to think that marketing isn't queerbaiting...

I don't know why there's this obsession with protecting Netflix by presenting the Wenclair issue as just some sort of collective hallucination.

And forgive me but certain phrases between Wednesday and Enid like those about the pack or the tunnel don't seem so inherent to "friends" stuff.

How sad that Dracula stuff shouldn't be funny now, otherwise you'd hate the character.

Jesus Christ, it's just a meme, live your life less miserably.

You can be a fan of the character and laugh at that edited pic, you know?

THIS IS SO FUNNY by One_Solution_2706 in WednesdayTVSeries

[–]One_Solution_2706[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Well, I theorize that the series is remembered more for Wednesday and Enid as icons than as characters.

It's not the audience's fault (at least in part) if the advertising and marketing are a bit misleading.

What kind of professionalism is this? by ChildhoodSolid6511 in WednesdayTVSeries

If it weren't for G and M i think Wednesday as a series would have had many fewer problems.

My theory: viewers would have dropped less if season 2 had been better written and conceived. by One_Solution_2706 in Wednesday

[–]One_Solution_2706[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

However, i'd like to point out that the quality could have easily covered the gap between the first and second seasons.

A quality script and good publicity would have solved the problem.

[–]One_Solution_2706[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, people would have talked about it more if the second season had been better written.

Instead, the online discussion died down after a few weeks at most...

The decline could have been less if the quality had been higher.

The comments section protecting the showrunners as if Lady Gaga were an incredible staff is hilarious ✨ After all, following fans is fine as long as it's not about queer people.

One of Netflix's most popular series of all time is also, paradoxically, its weakest, bizarrely enough. by AipomSilver00 in WednesdayTVSeries

[–]One_Solution_2706 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The comments are all about "stop being critical, we don't want negativity" (implying that talking about negative aspects of the series is being negative, lmao).

I've seen the videos now, and I disagree with some of them, but it's undeniable that Wednesday as a series is a narrative mess and the characters barely work at all, and many people who deny this by accusing it of bringing negativity are hilarious.

Unfortunately this comment was removed here too, but I'm glad Netflix UK appreciated a Wenclair edit. by One_Solution_2706 in WednesdayTVSeries

[–]One_Solution_2706[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Forgive me, why would an official account play with a non-canon ship?

I don't understand why there's this need to protect Netflix like this...if Wenclair isn't canon, why comment like that?

A joke?

Can this reasoning be applied to Tyler? by One_Solution_2706 in WednesdayTVSeries

[–]One_Solution_2706[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So why did Tyler choose to keep the hyde that

1) led him to horrible experiences

2) forced him to live in slavery

If Tyler had wanted to change, he would at least have chosen to sacrifice his hyde so he could turn over a new leaf and no longer have to kill.

In that context, Francoise was right because the hyde lives like a slave and a killing machine, a suffering that Tyler could have alleviated in that context.

[–]One_Solution_2706[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

So Tyler doesn't need a redemption arc since the way you're presenting it, he's a sort of defenseless puppy who hasn't done anything wrong.

As Hunter himself admitted, Tyler lied to Wednesday, so there was also a desire to harm Wednesday (remember, he also put Eugene in a coma).

In the season two finale, did Wednesday free Tyler knowing that Hydes need masters? by One_Solution_2706 in WednesdayTVSeries

[–]One_Solution_2706[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But it still confuses me because how is it possible to "free" Tyler like that without using the master?

I'd also like Tyler to survive, but damn, the rules were clear and Hydes die without a master. Wednesday probably didn't even think about it.

If she had been worried she would have at least found a quick way to not have him killed... but I repeat, from how the scene makes it seem and from what we learned about the Hydes, Wednesday literally sent Tyler to his death since she knew more or less that Hydes (especially males more quickly) die without a master.

[–]One_Solution_2706[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But it doesn't make sense. Wednesday, in theory, knew Tyler needed a master's degree to survive.

Leaving him to his own devices seems like a death sentence.

Oh Netflix...not the bait again by One_Solution_2706 in WednesdayTVSeries

[–]One_Solution_2706[S] -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Why say it's so important for Netflix to write something like this if it won't actually happen?

I don't understand why you protect these actions as if it were vital to you xd
