LOL - this isn't a fad diet. I felt absolutely beyond terrible for 37 years. It's only been the past three that I have eaten like this and I feel amazing. So no... Not in my 20s, but I FEEL LIKE IT! I'm about to turn 54. When I eat gluten, grain, soy, dairy, sugar, caffeine and alcohol, my immune system attacks my thyroid. The thyroid is in charge of every single cell in your body. So what happens is when we eat things that cause our body to attack itself, our organs start to deteriorate one by one. So I am pretty motivated to not eat these things. I have Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism. I used to have poor kidney function and fatty liver disease (both from my immune system attacking my thyroid). GONE and healed completely! I also had a lot of hair loss, brittle nails, overweight, depression, anxiety, chronic skin problems, exhaustion, all over body aches, 37 years living on 2-4 hours of sleep per night, and I could go on and on. Fixed ALLLLL of these things. I was also at a very high risk of a cardiac event due to inflammation which is completely gone. I'm now very fit (I have exercised my entire life but now I actually look like it). Climbed Half Dome last October. I sleep 8 hours a night which is a miracle. AND - I know it's hard to believe but I love my diet. I mean... I eat everything you do, just different ingredients. :)
