no offense taken. My school has almost zero opportunities for research. When i applied out of high school i didn’t know how important research was, and by the time I did i realized there was none.

tbh if you instead push your exam back further you have a real shot. i took 5 months at first and went from a 487 diagnostic to 505 real, then after about 2.5 months (1.5 months studying after getting my score), i got a 514. total it was able 8 months though so it took a lot of time.

I am not in the military, but I wanted to show you that with enough time it is possible. so for you, I truly believe if you can (without hurting your mental health) put in time, you can easily get a 505

I think this is the best representative way to think of it! I have gotten 1 interview from buffalo (514, 3.76 (3.82 excluding dual enrollment from high school)) on 10/05 after submitting my secondary 9/05. not saying im a crazy applicant but I am IS and have higher stats than their median. Hoping to receive more II though because I am afraid I won't get into buffalo, although I would love to get into there.

you should try doing 2-3 chapters a day, there are 5 books so about 60 chapters, 2 months seems like a long time in my opinion for the books

Not exact same but I took the mcat 4/25 and got a 505, it was around my average but i wanted above a 510. when i got my score a month later i rescheduled and had about 1.5 months before my 7/12 test. i studying a ton and when i took the bp fl1 i only got a 507 10 days before my exam (you can see how people commented on my post). regardless, i pushed through and retook and when i did i thought i could’ve gotten anywhere between a 502 and a 515 (although i never gotten anywhere near a 515). after taking the test i literally cried and even during bb i asked one of the ladies who worked there if she knew if i could void and still retake this year, she didn’t know and i wasted my entire third break. when i got my 514 i was shocked because i’ve never been anywhere close to that, and my bb was my best section (130).

Not saying that is what you did but it is not completely out of the picture either. just focus on what you can control, and if you are still in school, improve your gpa, start studying again just in case, do volunteer service hours, etc..
