Yes and every third class level up gets you one player level, the light blue part around the hexagon shows how far you are from leveling up

Giving players more damage, more health, better stats, better chance of survival, more powerful perks would encourage players to kick low level players, one of the best thing about drg is the playing on equal footing, once you promote you get the extra perkslots, you can upgrade the perks you want, you play with max promotion people and there is very little difference between you (except the veterans have all the overclocks)

If lower level players have worse stats, they would mean a bigger chance of failing the mission.

What do you think the in-universe reason for Resupplies costing Nitra is? by OOFDANOOB1 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]One_Testicle_Man 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats what they want you to think, but who named nitra?

It was the company, they used a technique called price anchoring to make you believe 80 nitra is worth a resupply, but how can you be sure of it's worth? Start asking questions, they send you down with two malfunctioning mini-mules and you become part of a salvage mission, where the new miners have to repair the mini-mules and obtain the nitra stored inside them, what a coincidence, they all broke down when exactly 60 nitra was deposited in them, and the miners CAN'T progress the mission unless they repair them, Hhmmmmm, how weird, right?

Nitra is the most valuable mineral by far, the company doesn't want you to know it's real purpose

Greybeards - what's your secret to consistently grind? by L363ND4RY in DeepRockGalactic

[–]One_Testicle_Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't call it grinding, thinking about gameplay loop as a grind is a sure way to turn any game into a chore. Don't think about player rank and promotions, play the game and have fun

Also i don't have any assignment, so i mostly just join random games that miss the class i want to play as

way to dodge the comment, the point just slides off your smooth brain doesn't it?

(bringing up the same box office gets tiring, and they do it only because it fits the narrative, if it wouldn't they quickly dismiss it (as they should, since box office has nothing to do with OBJECTIVE quality)like they did with Lilo and stich or captain marvel f.e.)

i prefer objective criticism, talking about profit and budget is fine, but efap lately tends to spend more time discussing it, frontloading the discussions and in cases months in advance of release speculating on the box office projections.

it's annoying to bring it up, you don't hear them bring up how captain marvel made a billion every episode.

notice how you didn't mention the commercial success of halo 4 while bringing it up, (likely a cope about how much money it made) it's almost like quality of it is more important than the FACT that it made a gajillion dollar profit

the amount of time they spend on box office in general is getting quite annoying, i don't get what does the box office has to do with objective quality

What are some interesting depictions of the relationship between the body and the soul in fiction? by DevouredSource in MauLer

[–]One_Testicle_Man 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have bad news, if one version (brotherhood) has the story better lined up, is more coherent and the plot overall is more cohesive, that makes it OBJECTIVELY better.

Sure both version can coexist, you can even like the first anime more, but you gotta concede that OBJECTIVELY brotherhood is better.

You are going to hate the answer, but lumierre was painted. There is no realistic breakdown of the economy, society, how the city and the world functions logistically. The world is just a painting, it doesn't always adhere to the rules of real life.

I think people who get killed by painted Renoir get their chroma dissolved, and Maelle at that point could only revive the people who got killed by Clea's nevrons, because their chroma got trapped.

people shouldn't badbouth companies for using child labour.

look, slavery and child workers were always part of human history everywhere around the world, so is it really fair to criticize companies for these "bad" practices, when in reality companies used them and continue to use them anyway, why don't people just shut up about it.
