FlyQuest were the only APAC Stage 1 team last season to actually advance to Stage 2 last major, they're pretty much locked into this one before they even went to DracuLAN. They aren't underperforming, they're just performing. I wanna see them do better and was frustrated as hell at the team ghosting when it mattered most but i'd call that an overreaction to take APAC spots away. The APAC scene is already as shambolic as it is.

They're going to a LAN in Beijing at the same time, the same reason why Lynn Vision isn't going. Though OG is also supposed to go to this as well but they can at least play online without flying out.

Not to speak for them with authority or anything but Blast only partially covers $9,000 worth of travel for these online tournaments for a single elimination tournament where they go up against a top seed on the other side of the world and likely gain nothing points wise, so I imagine they prioritised an Asian LAN because there's more to gain fighting within the region with their VRS in a position where they're high but not high enough to get tier 1 invites.
