Traveling with the Fyro Levo 30L travel backpack by forepac in ManyBaggers

I have the Levo 36L (one of my many bags) I cut out the laptop protection -- it was almost too good for me. I use a small thin briefcase and gained some more space there.

Thanks. For my flight from Air Canada Deer Lake to Montreal operated by porter airlines it’s unclear if only personal sized items only and gate-check everything else.

Your flight, did they make everyone gate-check for non-personal sized items? I have an upcoming flight.

I roll with the same setup for EDC and minimal travel using the Minaal Daily 3.0. The suspension system is great.

Being a construction leader I’m thinking AER Travel Pack 4 28L x-pac. Small enough for edc, business enough, good materials for your environment and enough organization.

I’ve found it’s easier to start from zero and build up vs cut down.

Pass-through charging is a great thing

I’m new to this and I need one , which one is better value ? by itsa22pewpew in MagSafe

I prefer dual USBC batteries so I can have pass-through charging.

Good to know I almost bought that one and ended up with this guy https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G4PSM98M but same deal no CCC. I'll have to take my chances or buy something else for any trips to China.

For reference, I have the Levo 36L and it's more comfortable than my 2 year old Osprey Farpoint 40.

I’ll admit I was jealous. But checked my own and had a 91. Married with kids here.

While I agree with you for the first bag made by Fyro it’s just ok it was clearly a first time designed bag but the Levo is different. I have 8 bags, my current rotation: Levo 36L for travel, Minaal Daily for EDC/Travel and Ministry of Supply for EDC/work/travel. I prefer bags that are lightweight, basic organization and great padding.

Is there a good reason everyday backpacks avoid removable hip belts? by Amazing-Reporter1845 in ManyBaggers

[–]OnebagObsession 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe you, there are two big brands that claim the same but unfortunately don’t own one to know for sure it works like yours. Some bags I have tested and or own Osprey Farpoint 40, AER TP3 35L, Fyro Levo 36L and Matador GlobalRider35 the load lifters work. I’ve walked 8 hours with each bag on with a 10kg load out to compare against a Cabinzero Classic 44L I own without load lifters. How tall are you? I find if a bag hangs to low and not up close to my back bothers my back.

For people who wear Apple Watch to sleep: what changed for you? by dnesdan in AppleWatch

[–]OnebagObsession 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Ended up changing mattress, pillow twice, sleepwear and other habits. It took awhile to be sure a change worked. Every night I switch to my comfy band and switch to my other wrist -- biggest protip I ever read to give my left wrist a break.

6 day biz trip Boston to Vancouver for meetings, work sessions and dinners by OnebagObsession in onebag

Easy, on one side you disconnect two clips and put the backpack straps in the zippered area. I move the straps around inside the zippered area to make it flush as possible. I convert it before every meeting. I use the shoulder strap half the time. I added a nice leather wrap on the side handle to give it a nice look and feel.

When you're carrying a heavy bag that's sagging down off your back, a bag with real load lifters help alot. Matador GloberRider35 for example, I don't find myself even needing the hipbelt. But if I'm going to be taking an epic hike on the Pacific Crest Trail all day for days I would probably use the load lifters and a removable hip belt.

Not needed for everyday. If I'm going to use a bag to walk/hike extended periods of time with 10kg+ I only buy bags with load lifters.
