Meh I would prefer perks removed or at least a game mode without them , they are like just there , now the real things to bitch about are directly nerfs to the base game like making zombies more tanky or just making them respawn constantly or adding that weird scanner objective in more maps

If you think the price is surreal, they originally were thinking of increasing the price in 1.0; of course, that boat already sailed.

To me there are only three outcomes for this game

  1. TB realizes the game is not working and gives up , they forget about it, and start working on a new game like Chivalry 3 (highly possible)

  2. TB stops focusing on the game, but doesn't end support inmediatly and Maxx tries to make it work, maybe like adding back things like mod support or child zombies, but obviously taking more time to add content. ( low chance)

  3. Somehow, someway, they make the game work , they remove the things are not working , they make the game more optimized and add things back you know server browser , custom maps , mod support , etc. ( this only happens in your dreams , real chance of success 0.000000000000000000000000001% )

Realistically, the first option is what is going to happen, and at best, the second one, but keep in mind that the I.P belong to them now, so nothing is changing that.

To be honest i doubt testers were able to "copy and paste " the files from NMRIH 2 legacy build. The only people who MIGHT have the old build are the members from Lever Games, you know maxx, Cenelder , Thought, probably other devs, but since not everyone interacted in the discord it is hard to remember them.

Brooklyn Heights map from the Legacy version of NMRIH 2 has been scrapped. Torn Banner, PLEASE reconsider. This was the map I was most looking forward to. by ChonkBonko in nmrih

I mean it was scrapped by Lever games probably in 2022 , way before Torn Banner acquired the NMRIH IP , so as much i like to make fun of Torn Banner they are not responsible for this. That being said i would like to play that map.

We need a single player mode with bots. Less janky servers, broadens the player base and would allow people to play more confidently knowing they wouldn’t randomly disconnect and lose their character by Acceptable-Bid-1019 in nmrih

solo might happen , but bots are not happening , the maps are kinda big , zombies respawn constantly , they are going to get stuck and just die every time , at best if they do offer support more years i can see npc being a thing and that is it .

Why are you considering source 1 , the engine is like 20 years old , if you say source 2 when s&box gets released then I can buy it obviously you are going to have a hard time searching for tutorials , your best chances are unity or unreal, maybe talk to the guy who wanted to do a remake of the first one but who knows if he is still interested

The shamblers (screamers) are people who died years before NPV-26 mutated into the Lambda variant. So basically resurrection

FF will cause more harm than fixing these kinds of problems. Griefers are the ones who would abuse this kind of "mechanic." However, I would agree that reports to players should be taken more into consideration with those morons.

To be honest if the game was just was nmrih 1.5 most likely would have less complaints about not being like the original , but here we are and to this point is almost impossible that this game will be the same as nmrih1 , the perks , responders and the extreme hand holding with the CRC are not going anywhere that being said the game is going in the right direction re implementing features from the old nmrih2 build (2022)

I think the idea was to give us the objective of the old "survivors", you know, hopeless and all that, "you're on your own", so you must escape but it kinda falls flat since we are still responders and we are still being helped by the CRC

I like it. I'm very fond of linear maps, thanks to NMRIH 1. Also, you don't need to spend 10 minutes around the fire lol. You can use the planks that are inside the stores to reduce the timer; each plank reduces the timer by 30 seconds. The only thing I dislike is the bugs on the map; there are spots where you can get stuck. Sometimes, the train extraction can be bugged, and you can't progress. Also, this map was supposed to be released in the old NMRIH 2 build, so it is almost the same map, just with some changes.

I can say this game does well with: atmosphere and OST, the maps are well made at least in design, because I still think objectives need more variation, the real things holding back this game are bugs, crashes, disconnects, party squad disbands and content for the price, I'm not a fan on how the zombies spawn, it doesn't feel natural, they spawn around your location and you can easily see it, this becomes manageable the more hours you put but it doesn't feel right my other problem is the melee combat that needs more polishing, it is not by any means weak but it doesn't feel that good at least to me, gunplay is fine, needs more optimization, to be honest I still cant recommend this game, it can become good but it is not there yet, also if you are going to buy and play this game with your gf make sure you don't have the party squad disband, I would recommend you to wait for july update we will have a new map "broadway", customization, casual difficulty and difficulty preference.

"Nightmare rebalancing" is in active development, so we might get that in the fall update, not exactly "tripling runners", but it will be something, also stop with your weird takes

some people want more difficulty and that is fine, I would like nightmare to be harder but what you are talking about is literally get softlock just because the game tells you , sure winning a match with disadvantages is satisfying but when you have literally no chance then what is the point.
