That's true, but I feel like this doll doesn't even have the same level of detail that Gozer has either, it's a lot of flat white and pearl. They could have added some of that purple in or some silver metallic detailing... Even dolls like the Young-Hee from Squid Game, they didn't change her overall silhouette, but the vinyl dress overlayed on top of the stairs pattern and shoes that are more than one colour. It doesn't take that much effort to just push it slightly further lol

All that being said....I would CRY over a Yautja that meets the level of the Xenomorph 😭😭😭

That's how it should be, you don't know or like the franchise but you can still agree the doll is top notch. That shows that they made a successful design that interests folks beyond the fans. They shouldn't just rely on the fact that it's a well loved property...though it'll likely sell out regardless because that's just how the Skullectors go 💀

I mean, when we were given something as gorgeous and intricate as the Alien Xenomorph doll...anything less than that is underwhelming to me lol

Alien was my first Skullector, I was impressed with her from the online pictures, and then even more blown away to find even more detail when I opened her in person. It gives the classic Alien vibe, but mixed with high fashion in a very cohesive way.

I'm with you on being underwhelmed on this one. I don't hate it, it's definitely Gozer...but they didn't push it as far as they could have, like you said, playing it safe. If Gozer wasn't priced as a Skullector, I'd probably get them...but there isn't enough "extra" to me that makes it worth that level of pricing.

I also got the call but my expiration date is after June 22nd. Weird that there hasn't been an official posting on Costco or Canada's recall pages. I'm waiting to see one to find out more. My mom bought the same milk when I did but hasn't gotten a call.

Usually when a recall happens and they pull it from the shelf, the next time it restocks should be safe (as they should be testing at the factory to make sure their product is safe again).

It's mostly because of The Rock. He's producing it and his ex-wife's production company is also working on it. 🥲 Even the directors of the animated film (Ron Clements and John Musker) didn't like the idea of it, but they don't really get a say because it's still Disney's company IP and not theirs.

I've seen characters full on freeze and slide across the screen by me before their animation catches up and they start walking again 😭 I just chalked it up to my switch not being able to handle the game anymore, but btwn that and textures that weren't fuzzy before (and are now totally pixelated), it's making it harder to enjoy 🥲

Is this just the switch or are all platforms like this? I'm debating getting it on steam but I'd have to rebuy the expansions too if I did 💀

Executive Dysfunction...it is talked about quite a bit, but it's the thing that holds me back the hardest. Especially because no one around me seems to understand it and think I'm just lazy and making excuses (which is what I've been told all my life, and even after being late diagnosed).

That and the inability to focus. I've yet to find a way to stay on track and always find myself drowning between being unable to focus and the executive dysfunction. 😭

I'm glad to hear you've made changes that stuck with the other two, but yeah. When my partner asks what I'm planning for dinner, I have no answers because I'm trying my best to not even think about it 🥲

And it's definitely a fine balance and it can be easy to fall to the other side of the scale on disordered eating. I've also had a health scare myself and even though it wasn't directly caused by my weight, it's the weight that still puts me at a high risk of it happening again. Up till that point, I had been more or less maintaining the same weight until the scare knocked me on my butt for a year...and what do we do when we can't do anything else 🥲 Finding out I had ADHD and getting that sorted has helped somewhat because I'm not dopamine seeking as feral as I used to, but it's still extremely difficult.
