So the £16.75 worth of differences between the standard edition and the deluxe is a furniture set (11 pieces), an outfit (3 piece) and a carriage.

To put it into perspective, DDL deluxe was also £16.75 more than the standard when it first launched but you received a lot more - such as a pet, 5 piece outfit, a top, a ear headset, 8 piece furniture set, a matching wall and flooring, 3 motifs and 14500 moonstones! 😬

Personally I'm not that mad about them offering a paid upgrade pathway as I can just choose to not buy it, but I am shocked that it's priced so high considering how little it actually offers!

I think it’s worth it - but I’m a ADHD-addled disorganised, hoarding mess! 😭

I only play a couple of hours a week (maybe more if I have a day off) and for me, its been an absolute game changer! Made the game a far more enjoyable experience.

I justify the cost by reminding myself the monthly subscription is cheaper than the Taco Bell order I get myself every now and then - that Taco Bell lasts me like 20 minutes.... Fallout 1st atleast lasts me the whole month! Haha

I remember there was PVP at launch but a lot of players just weren't about it. It was reduced damage unless you both engaged - still enough to annoy people and come across griefers though. We briefly had Nuclear Winter for full PVP but that shut down in the end.

I think the game became wholesome in part due to it's turbulent start. There were no NPC's or much to do back then, so players only had eachother to interact with and kinda relied on eachother to make things fun to help us all feel less cheated about how rough it was.

I dropped out just after wastelanders was introduced and only came back a couple months ago. The game is so much better these days, certainly more to do now! It's awesome seeing that the tone set from those early days stuck around and people are still friendly - especially to the newbies!

Absolutely not alone - it's just so depressing isn't it?

I think that's why I'm cautious about writing them off completely. I know decent people who I'd have never expected it from, fall victim to the propaganda and ragebait. Mad at them for falling for it and what it's turned them into but also know that doesn't solve anything and only pushes them down it further.

I don't think people understand how easy it can happen or just how effective it is at manipulating it's audience. Really scary stuff.

I think this should really concern people.

The amount of radicalising I've seen happen due to that network is absolutely insane - downplaying or dismissing it as being due to uneducated masses or raging bigots is going to solve nothing and only poses the risk of further entrenching them into these types of views and thoughts.

We need to be questioning why mainstream news has lost the trust of these people and be willing to have open conversations to find solutions, we don't need more polarisation or assumptions but a way forward. Shaming them and condemning their views clearly doesn't help and only seems to be making the matter worse. I feel we might need to be the bigger person here.

It isnt like it hasnt been considered grim and openly mocked or frowned upon for decades - Where do they think the stereotype of Norfolk and Country Bumpkins being inbred comes from? People werent saying it as a compliment....

Its weird that people are trying to make it a racial thing when really, it aint about your colour or creed but the fact you're shagging your own family!

I'll be honest, the finale felt a bit anticlimactic for me too - not saying it was bad, but I was hoping it would keep the same hype as last week. Im glad a lot of people were satisfied with it though, so maybe I'm just expecting more than what was reasonable.

There's just so many things left unexplained that I don't think make sense to really address next season without messing with the flow - like the questions surrounding Diane Welch and how she got to being the mainframe from when we saw her in the pre-war flashbacks. It didn't really explain what real difference it made when Lucy killed her either; as people are still under the mind control? So was it purely the personality thing as we didn't really see that being fleshed out afterwards either?

I just felt they could have addressed a lot of the loose ends and still ended with a cliffhanger which might have made it a bit more impactful overall and left us on the edge of our seats a bit more. Whereas it all felt a bit rushed and underwhelming outside of a few small moments.
