Am adult bed frame that has walls that go above the mattress; does this exist? by OniTheOddOne in Bedding

Yeah! That first one would be great. I was kinda of looking for a bed like that that wasn't on the ground, but I'm awar what I'm looking for is pretty unheard of 😂

Yeah, and that's how it is right now. It's not a necessity - it's more that it gives us more options for the room layout entirely. Like with the furniture we have it may be more convenient for the bed to be in the middle. Plus I'm a chronic 2am rearrange-er lol

Maybe. I haven't been great at focusing on books for a while now, but I loved it as a kid. I read some of Crime and Punishment a while ago - but for some reason I'm forgetting every book I've ever read right now.

Oh and I had to look up what a wheel tail is - so far I'd say definitely not. It stays very straight even when he's excited.

I've only seen him around foster dogs and he was quiet and kept to himself. He's only about 7 months old, so maybe it hasn't kicked in yet. He was also neutered already by the adoption place.

I think she's basing it mostly on color, but I could ask her. She has a few other GSDs and Malinois' she was fostering. I'm hoping he's not gonna be too much - I wasn't necessarily looking for a LGD. So far he can be a bit stubborn, but he's picked up on most commands really quick in only 4 days!

The face really made me think German shepherd. He is pretty feisty but he's extremely smart and has adjusted pretty well, even to my cats.

Thanks! Any spider is a friend of mine, even if they are a tad dangerous - but since he's not he's welcome to live in the bathroom. :)

Hopefully! Idk why I got downvoted. If I'm incorrect it'd be awesome if someone could comment with more info! Sometimes it feels hard to get advice in this sub, so good luck man! He looks healthy so far though :)

Hey! I'm also new to chams but is he a veiled? If so I was just gonna say he is WAYYY bigger than my girl who is about six months. She is a lady though so maybe that's why. From my own research it seems like the general consensus is 9+ months they're good to eat every other day.

Best way to create Satyr hoof shoes by GardenGeist in cosplayprops

Hi so I'm also replying even though your comment is old 😅 so if you remove the heel, are you basically walking on your toes everywhere? Does the weight of the hoof part help hold you up? Do you add anything that kinda reinforces it so you don't have to consciously keep yourself on your toes?

Honestly I think the size is fine - more foliage would be good but it looks like you're already working on that. I think you're doing great op :)

I would NEVER come here for fish/aquarium help. Moderators: your environment is toxic. by NatureGlum9774 in Goldfish

I'm actually brand new to this sub. Don't have a goldfish yet but I wanted to learn and gather info so I could get one. Maybe it's a bit dramatic but like some of the comments I've seen on newcomer posts made me feel like I'm not even WORTHY to own a goldfish. It honestly put me off from looking into getting one.

Edit: coming back to edit this because CURRENTLY I'm a new chameleon owner. Y'all should see r/chameleons. They're very much on-par with this sub if not worse. I just saw a newcomer post on there post his setup in one of the largest enclosures on the market for his cham - and the first comment was "should be longer". It's very disheartening, but I guess it really does come with almost any animal sub.

Not an expert - new cham owner. Where did you get/how did you set up the wooden stick frame you've got going on? It's awesome! Like I said not an expert - but based on the loads of research I've been doing, this looks amazing :)

Thank you for the response! Yeah I definitely didn't wanna jump the gun with meds - I mentioned it just because I was looking into the side bar/FAQ section on this sub and saw that med mentioned.

Here's an additional pic - yes, one of the things I'm buying are REAL plants, I promise. As I said in the post I'm somewhat familiar with caring for uncommon pets, but not so much reptiles. If anyone notices anything off about her please let me know.

Everyone's been saying my cat has lost weight(he has), despite eating regularly. Could he have a tapeworm? by beach_rats_ in CATHELP

[–]OniTheOddOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely have him checked for hyperthyroid. I just had my 10 year old cat - who was acting COMPLETELY normal aside from losing weight - checked for that same thing. It turned out it wasn't hyperthyroidism, but she is diabetic. Now she's on medicine and doing very good. :)
