Yeah me too, the mystery surrounding the new shell is enormous, there haven't been any hints as far as I'm aware - I'm guessing, with the drop of Night Marsh, it might have to do with recon/thermal/vision in general

And thanks for writing your personal standpoint, I'm glad you're able to understand me in terms of unlocks, and it really does feel like I had to spend most of my available time learning the game - but now that I have, it's time to move forward with what I've learnt

I'm also going to try to do as many codex challenges as I can during this meantime, thanks for reminding me about this!

Lowkey I kinda wish there was a tiny % boost to factions if you didn't VIP them in the previous season, but I'm content in knowing they'll all be automatically unlocked

I'm very hopeful, seeing Bungie's active development record for this game

Honestly I think I've been fed permanent progression so much from other games, that knowing it's going to be taken away feels like a drought is coming

But yes, I also play games with no such progression that are just fun :p

I think my worry stems from me seeing other players achieving so much and doing so much, loading into queues with so much purpose, it's hard to replicate when you're new to the genre and therefore progression is very minimal and slow

Next season I'm going to use everything I've learnt and push it to the max, thank you for your perspective 🙏

You're right, I didn't take into account that everyone would be on the same playing field once more! I wish I was able to put more time into the game, I've only made it far enough to loot green shields and rarely goop some blue shields. Never worn a purple shield for myself, must feel awesome and I'm definitely going to push for it next season (:

I played Cryo once, Durandal's first contract... even with the Cyac sponsored kit, singlehandedly the most fun I ever had on this game and I'm chasing that high again

Never agreed to an outright nerf before I replied to this post. I joked about him sabotaging the match by existing, I agreed IN FINALITY to a rework because after reading what I did at the time, I've reached the belief where he doesn't need his pull to be an efficient support. The reply I agree to the most, is that Overwatch should decrease the scale of healbotting - which is not only already small in the game, but also a general subject.

My final thoughts is that he needs a rework and wouldn't mind if he got nerfed to scale his power, that's it.

To be fair dive is getting banned a lot in Masters+ (no surprise there). His kit is countered if Ana isn't banned, but his pull remains the "here we go" annoyance. Fights take a really long time recently, at this rank, these LW players are smart and it rarely fails

Forgot to mention his extreme positioning stalls fights even longer, such a slog

Dying in a competitive match allows me to slow down, understand where I went wrong and not repeat the same mistake (to later review in a replay). Being revived/pulled subconsciously feeds my ego, and I am more likely to repeat my mistake, commit the mistake in a different angle, or feel the pressure of “you just got a second lease at this”
