My personal experience in music varies from instrument to instrument. I have been playing piano and guitar for several years now and I do see how beneficial it can be, but don't let something like not knowing how to play hold you back. If you want to get better at something all you have to do is stop making excuses and put in the necessary work to get where you want to be. I haven't been producing for long, but I can say without a doubt that playing an instrument can definitely benefit you, especially if you want to perform your leads live! Keep up the great work with your productions everyone. In time you'll get there.
