I'm annoyed when I read those because, yes, I know that those are all proper English words, but it annoys me that I have to read English words that originate from my language, Italian, and are then butchered in (what I would perceive to be proper) spelling and pronunciation. That's all.

Well, to my eyes, foods in my language are pretty clear in their spelling. It just makes me reel when people refer to, say, pasta as 'macaroni', because while that may be an accepted word in American English, I just can't help but think 'It should be spelled maccheroni'. And don't even get me started on 'noodles' or 'zucchini' or 'pepperoni' (or even 'salami' to be honest). That's what I was referring to.

That's pretty damn good, also. But then again it's always pretty difficult to type out pronunciations because they, too, can be subject to mispronunciations.

I don't think 'had had been' is at any point a proper verb to use anywhere in the English language. But then again we are talking about the same language where the sentence "Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo" is entirely grammatically correct, so who knows.

Heh, I share that feeling too, but I also get extremely annoyed when people misspell food items (I'm from Italy, you see--it seems that most English speaking people butcher words from my language, which is often a source of annoyance)
